Run and Gun: Driftwood Dash and Gearworks Gauntlet

Two stages that display a RUN 'N GUN! card, plus the chapters that look similar but were never labeled that way.

Some chapters between bosses are side-scrolling shoots. Two of them announce it.

Confirmed run-and-gun cards

Stage Where to look What the frame shows
Driftwood Dash About 3:09, card near 3:15 RUN 'N GUN! on a beach boardwalk with a lighthouse, umbrellas, and small enemies
Gearworks Gauntlet About 6:15, card near 6:18 RUN 'N GUN! in a factory of gears and arched windows

A beach clip shows a shot into a clam-like enemy with HP 3 on the HUD. A factory clip shows a three-way spread from a weapon labeled DIVISOR, and a different factory frame says SPLITTER, once with HP 4. Those health numbers are not a shared starting value. Another creator's labels RUN & GUN 1 and RUN & GUN 2 point at beach and factory footage; they are that creator's numbers.

How to practice them

These are approach notes from the layout on screen, not a score strategy.

  1. Look at the next platform and the enemy standing on it before you leave your current one.
  2. Watch the shape of the shot you have. A spread covers a different space than the single pea shot from the opening boss.
  3. Keep the HP number in view. The clips do not say how much damage a hit deals.
  4. Pink objects still follow the official parry rule. The run-and-gun frames that were checked do not map a parry route through either stage.
  5. Co-op footage shows more than one player on the boardwalk. Shared health and revive rules are not stated. Agree on when to move if you are together.

Chapters that are not confirmed

Candy Coaster, around 16:05, shows an amusement-park pier and players firing. Gumdrop Grotto, around 20:46, shows a candy cave. Neither checked frame includes a RUN 'N GUN! card or a boss health bar. They stay on the stage list so the route is complete, without a false boss entry. Official promo art of a blockier boardwalk fight is a separate image and is not a screenshot of Driftwood Dash.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Inkhead?

Inkhead is a Roblox PvE shooter by the group Trout Land. You play an ink jar with a pea shooter, parry pink attacks, and fight cartoon bosses toward the Clock King. It is inspired by Cuphead and is a separate game.

Is Inkhead the same game as Cuphead?

No. Cuphead is a different game. Inkhead has its own bosses, stages, wardrobe, and codes. Cuphead patterns and boss names do not transfer.

How do you parry?

The official description says to parry anything pink. In The Belfry, pink ghosts are parried by jumping and jumping again as you touch them. Black spiky ghosts are dodged and cannot be parried. Follow your device's button prompts outside that keyboard panel.

Does Inkhead have codes?

The game page says codes are redeemed in MENU, then CODES, and that codes are shared in the developer's Discord. Listings through October 25, 2026 report 3Mvisits for 100 Ink and 2 Revives. Enter it only after the tutorial, with that exact capitalization.

Can you play with friends?

Yes. The official description supports solo or co-op, and the experience allows 20-player servers. Footage shows two or three players in some fights. It does not show whether boss health changes when a friend joins.

Why do guides disagree about World 2 and World 3?

The Roblox badges only say World 1 Cleared, World 2 Cleared, and World 3 Cleared. Video makers then attach different boss ranges to those numbers. Match the boss on your screen instead of the number.

Is Mugman a playable character?

No Mugman item, price, or ability has been confirmed. The file-select card says INKY & QUILL, and the wardrobe frame shows a head named QUILL BOTTLE. A video title that says Mugman is the uploader's description of the run.
